Field School
Are you interested in archaeology field season? We are prepare for our 2013 season, and as we organize, please take a look at our 2013 Ostia Antica Project for information on requirements, application et al.
Our field school gives students hands-on experience in the following aspects of archaeological fieldwork: excavation; archaeological drawing; cultural material identification, collection, and management; documentation using a total station; manual documentation; conservation techniques regarding both structures and material culture.
Field school participants live in the city center and have an interactive experience with Rome through AIRC-organized and not-so-organized events both academic and social. Our objective is to make sure you know Roman history, archaeology and excavation techniques and the city of Rome.
Please contact us for any questions: studyabroad[at]romanculture.org
Two questions:
– my daughter is 17. Is she too young?
– when are the dates?
Thanks/ reggie
